Software and Services Acquisition requests are when you need to acquire a piece of software or an IT-related service (such as internet service). This includes both free software and services or those that you must pay for, regardless of source of funds (state, federal, grant, foundation, etc.)
Hardware acquisition requests are when you need to acquire IT-related hardware such as computers, printers, mice, monitors, sensors, drones, etc .. This includes both harware you get for free, such as through a donation from a foundation or local government or through surplus, or things that you must pay for, regardless of source of funds (state, federal, grant, foundation, etc.)

A service request is like placing an order at a restaurant. It's a way for you to ask for something from IT, like instructions on using a piece of hardware or software or changing your password. Service requests are usualy not urgent, and they don't disrupt your work.
Content management requests allow AgCenter employees to create and edit content for the LSU AgCenter.com website by logging in to one of our two systems using your AgCenter ID and password. Training is provided, including online training, personal or group training online through Teams, and a CMS Moodle course.
